This study examines the implementation of Arabic language instruction for fifth-grade students at SDIT Imam Syafi’i Karangduwur Petanahan Kebumen. The research aims to evaluate the teaching methods, materials, and assessment techniques employed, as well as the challenges faced by educators and students in this context. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis. Findings indicate that the integration of interactive teaching strategies, including the use of multimedia resources and collaborative activities, significantly enhances student engagement and comprehension. However, challenges such as limited instructional time and insufficient language exposure outside the classroom hinder optimal language acquisition. The study suggests the need for comprehensive teacher training programs and increased opportunities for students to practice Arabic in various contexts to improve learning outcomes. These findings contribute to the broader discourse on effective language education strategies in primary schools and offer practical recommendations for educators and policymakers.
