Desain pembelajaran Berbasis ICT untuk Pengembangan Desain Pembelajaran Berbasis Culturally Responsive Pedagogy

Abstract

The rapid development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) calls for the development of learning approaches that are not only technology-oriented but also responsive to the cultural context of learners. This study aims to identify the characteristics and effectiveness of ICT-based learning designs that integrate cultural values, formulate steps for their development based on the Culturally Responsive Pedagogy (CRP) approach, and analyse their impact on student engagement and learning outcomes. The study employed a qualitative method using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to examine reputable academic articles published between 2016 and 2026. The findings indicate that ethno-ICT learning designs are characterised by a contextual approach rooted in local culture, the use of multimodal media, interactive student-centred learning, and an inclusive digital environment. Its development involves analysing students’ cultural characteristics, formulating multidimensional learning objectives, implementing collaborative and flexible learning strategies, and conducting authentic assessment based on digital portfolios. The implementation of this design has been shown to holistically enhance students’ participation, motivation to learn, character development, and academic achievement. The findings of this research provide a conceptual foundation for educators in designing socio-culturally relevant digital learning.
