Abstract

This research aims to determine the application of the STAD type cooperative learning method (Student Team Achievement Division) in Moral learning and to determine the increase in student learning outcomes that apply the STAD type cooperative learning method in Moral learning in class XI-L Religion Madrasah Aliyah Islamic Center Bin Baz Putri Yogyakarta . This research is classroom action research. This research was carried out at the MA Islamic Center Bin Baz Putri Yogyakarta with research subjects in class XI-L Religion. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, tests and documentation. This research uses one class, namely class XI-L Religion, as the research subject using the STAD type cooperative learning method.

The results of the research show that the implementation of the STAD type cooperative learning method can improve: students' cognitive learning outcomes in moral subjects seen from the first cycle, the average value was 81.66, the second cycle was 92.04 or an increase of 10.38 or 12.71%, Results students' affective learning in the first cycle morals subject was 72.72 in the second cycle 93.18 or an increase of 20.46 or 28.13% and students' psychomotor learning outcomes in the first cycle morals subject were 80 in the second cycle 88.70 or an increase of 8.70 or 10.87%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of the STAD type cooperative learning method can improve student learning outcomes in moral subjects at the MA Islamic Center Bin Baz Putri Yogyakarta.
