Peran Guru PAI Dalam Meningkatkan Kedisiplinan Ṣalāt Berjama’ah Siswa MA ICBB

Based on the background of the problem in this study, some students do not have awareness such as being late, busy with other activities, and there are even teachers who wait for students to come to ṣalāt, which is contrary to what it should be, namely arriving before ṣalāt time. This study aims to find out the role of Islamic Education teachers in improving the discipline of congregational ṣalāt of MA Islamic Center Bin Baz Yogyakarta students, and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors as well as what solutions are carried out by Islamic Education teachers in overcoming these inhibiting factors. This type of research is qualitative field research. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the role of Islamic Education teachers in improving the discipline of ṣalāt in congregation of students of MA Islamic Center Bin Baz Yogyakarta, are: The teacher as a motivator who encourages students to be aware and disciplined, as an example meaning that the teacher becomes a role model for students, as an advisor, guide and supervisor who guides students in a better direction and practices what they have learned.
