Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the implementation of discussion method in teaching Hadith for grade XI students at Salafiyah Ulya Islamic Centre Bin Baz Putri Yogyakarta in the academic year 2023/2024. Additionally, the study examines the improvement of students' learning outcomes using the discussion method in the Hadith subject. This research is an action research involving 13 grade XI students at Salafiyah Ulya Islamic Centre Bin Baz Putri Yogyakarta as the research subjects. The discussion method is implemented in two cycles with procedures including planning, action, observation, reflection, and data collection through interviews, tests, observations, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted qualitatively and quantitatively. The results show an improvement in students' learning outcomes after implementing the discussion method, with all students achieving scores above the minimum passing grade in the second cycle.
