Abstract

The image media used for early childhood at RA Bunayya ICBB Yogyakarta is a media to support learning Arabic vocabulary which is part of the early education curriculum at RA. Image media can be presented in an interesting and fun way in class B1, thereby fostering enthusiasm for learning and making students' attention focused on learning activities. This research aims to determine the implementation of image media in learning Arabic vocabulary, its supporting and inhibiting factors in class B1 RA Bunayya ICBB.

The research method used is qualitative descriptive research. Data was obtained through observation, interviews and documentation using triangulation techniques carried out in class B1. The research informants were the homeroom teacher for class B1 and the school principal. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and data verification.

The results of the research show, the implementation of image media in learning Arabic vocabulary in class B1 uses still image media in the form of picture books, and picture cards printed in color on A4 size HVS paper, using varied learning methods, and through well-designed learning stages, namely , planning, implementing and evaluating learning. Supporting factors for learning, availability of image media that meets the requirements, teacher enthusiasm, condition of students, and rewards. Inhibiting factors include limited image media, lack of conditioning of students, lack of discipline in time management.
