Abstract

Discipline is an important aspect of education that can influence the academic performance and behavior of female students. One way to strengthen discipline is through getting used to routine activities, such as holding midday prayers in congregation in the school environment. Congregational midday prayer is not only a religious obligation, but can also be a means of building discipline and solidarity among female students. This research aims to assess whether this habituation is effective in improving female students' discipline, as well as to identify supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This research is qualitative research, taking data at the Islamic Center Bin Baz 2 (SUTQ Jamilurrahman Putri) and the methods used are observation, documentation, interviews with female students and teachers. This type of research uses field research (Field Research) to analyze the implementation of midday prayers in congregation. while data analysis techniques use data reduction, display and data collection.

The habit of praying in congregation at Salafiyah Ula Jamilurrahman Yogyakarta has become a mandatory routine activity for class IV A and other class girls. This prayer is held in each class every day according to the time of the call to prayer. This research aims to evaluate the impact of the habit of congregational prayer on female students' discipline as well as supporting and inhibiting factors. The results show positive changes in female students' behavior, including increased discipline in completing homework assignments, rest time management, and awareness of environmental cleanliness. Supporting factors such as supervision from the homeroom teacher and mentoring by the teacher play an important role in the success of this practice. However, there are also inhibiting factors such as female students' personal habits and lack of facilities. Patience, support and continuous efforts are needed from the school and the surrounding environment to ensure the continuity of the practice of congregational prayer as well as forming good habits in worship and discipline among female students.
