Abstract

Tahsin is one of the superior programs at the ICBB boarding school to improve the reading of the Al-Qur’an so that it conforms to the rules of reading the Al-Qur’an. The rules for reading the Qur’an have 3 basic stages, namely makhārijul hurūf, ṣifātul hurūf, and itmāmul harakat. In its use, MBB tahsin pays attention to these 3 stages in order to achieve a vision and mission that is in accordance with the ICBB boarding school to produce a generation of Quranic. This research is field research using descriptive qualitative methods with a pretest and posttest research design, pretest and posttest assessments based on reading tests al-fatihah which is assessed according to MBB tahsin standards and assessed by ustaz who comply with MBB standards. The results of the research show that the use of the tahsin bin baz (MBB) method provides a very good and positive contribution to improving the Al-Qur’an reading ability of class 2A Salafiyah Wustho ICBB students, in accordance with the rules of Al-Qur’an reading and based on pretest and posttest scores.
