Implementasi Pendidikan Akhlak Dalam Pembentukan Karakter Mandiri Pada Siswa Kelas X Agama Madrasah Aliyah Jamilurrahman

Since 2001, Indonesia has been facing a complex moral crisis, including an increase in cases of moral degradation, such as bullying incidents resulting in the death of a teacher by their own student. The causes are multifaceted, including lack of parental attention due to busy work schedules and insufficient guidance and care for children. This has led to impulsive behavior among teenagers, as a form of escape from the frustration and indifference of society towards them. In this context, moral education plays a crucial role in shaping the self-reliant character of students. Through field research at MA Jamilurrahman Yogyakarta, educational programs have been implemented using methods of habituation, exemplification, motivation, and evaluation. The research findings indicate that the implementation of moral education is effective in shaping student behavior, such as the adoption of values of courtesy and discipline within the school environment. This demonstrates that efforts in moral education can be a solution to address the moral crisis faced by Indonesia, by instilling ethical values as the foundation of human relations both with others and with God.
