Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation process and problems in learning Tahfidzul Qur'an on Halaqah Alif students at SDIT Qonita Islamic School Cisauk Tangerang. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation method, interview method, and documentation method with the sources of Principal, Educators, and Students in Halaqah Alif SDIT Qonita Islamic School Cisauk Tangerang. The results of the thesis data processing show that the problems that occur in learning Tahfidzul Qur'an at Halaqah Alif SDIT Qonita Islamic School Cisauk Tangerang are divided into internal problems which include the lack of determination of students in memorizing the Qur'an, the difficulty of students in managing time, the lack of understanding and application of students regarding good tajweed rules, Students who are addicted to playing gadgets and games which cause students to be lazy to memorize, and external problems which include lack of motivation from parents, educators who are less competent in teaching in tahfidz halaqah, as well as a less conducive environment, school cultural norms that do not emphasize memorization of students.
