This study was motivated when researchers conducted observation activities at Salafiyah Wustha Islamic Center Bin Baz Yogyakarta, where researchers found that the character of students, especially grade 7, needed important attention. This study aims to determine the role, constraints, and supporting factors of PAI teachers in shaping the Islamic character of grade 7 Salafiyah Wustha Islamic Center Bin Baz Yogyakarta. This study uses a qualitative method by conducting observations conducted previously to find out more about the problem and determine what steps will be used as corrective action. The results of the study are as follows: Teachers have efforts in shaping Islamic character by providing material and motivation to students during the learning process. In addition, teachers also try to provide good examples and become role models in students' daily lives, especially in the school environment
