Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of teachers in shaping the character of ninth-grade students at Salafiyah Wustho Islamic Centre Bin Baz using the approach of Ibn Taimiyah's theory. The research method employed is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The research subjects include the school principal, curriculum department, and ethics teachers. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results indicate that the role of teachers is crucial in molding the character of students. Teachers act as educators and mentors who impart knowledge and moral values to the students. Supporting and inhibiting factors affecting the teachers' role also influence the process of character formation among students.
