Pendidikan Karakter dalam Al-Qur’an Surat Luqman Ayat 12-19

Abstract

Education is a very important aspect for building a generation that is ready to replace the baton of the older generation in order to build the future. Character education is an essential part of the task of educational institutions, but so far it has received little attention. The Qur'an was revealed by Allah to the Prophet Muhammad to become a guide to life for all humans which functions as huuda (guidance) and bayyinah (explanation) for the instructions that have been given, as well as furqon (differentiator) between what is haq (true) and what is false. (Wrong).This type of research is library research. The method used to collect data is the documentation method. The data analysis that researchers use is content analysis, namely research carried out on information documented in video recordings, whether in images, sound or writing. then a descriptive interpretation is carried out, namely by providing an overview and interpretation as well as a description of the data that has been collected. The results of this research show that in the Al-Qur'an Surah Luqman verses 12-19 have character education value. The value of character education contained in the Al-Qur'an Surah Luqman verses 12-19 is divided into two categories, namely 8 commandments and 3 prohibitions.
