Abstract

   This study aims to describe the habituation of prayer behavior in children aged 5-6 years at PAUD AS-SALAM Salawu. This study uses a qualitative method. The subjects in this research were 12 children in class B2 and two teachers in class B2 located at Kp Margasari RT 005 RW 001, Des. Margalaksana, District. Salawu. From the research results, it was found that the strategy used by the teacher always reminded and explained good prayer etiquette. The difficulty experienced by teachers is that they are not able to organize prayer activities well, let alone read short letters. The child's behavior when raising his hand is appropriate and looks good. For children's behavior when reciting short surahs and daily prayers, they are always repeated two or three times so that it is easy for children to pronounce them. Meanwhile, regarding the child's behavior when sitting in a chair.
