Abstract

This study aims to analyze the compatibility between the materials presented in the Arabic textbook Al-‘Arabiyah Baina Yadaik and the learning outcomes and objectives outlined in the Kurikulum Merdeka used in MTs Jamilurrahman. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with content analysis, the researcher examined the thematic content, linguistic skills components, and their alignment with Capaian Pembelajaran (CP) and Tujuan Pembelajaran (TP). Findings show that while the textbook provides comprehensive and communicative Arabic instruction, not all content aligns with the Indonesian curriculum framework. Some themes lack contextual adaptation and the development of certain student competencies. This study recommends revisions to enhance alignment with national education goals and to improve student-centered learning in Arabic language instruction.
