This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in the Aqidah Akhlak subject for Grade VII at SMP IT Islamic Centre Bin Baz Sintang. The curriculum has only been applied to Grade VII, while Grades VIII and IX still use the 2013 Curriculum. Using a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach, the study examines the implementation process, the challenges faced, and the efforts made by teachers. The findings reveal that learning is not limited to theoretical instruction but also includes reflective activities such as group discussions and journal writing. This approach aligns with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes differentiated, contextual learning and character development.
