Implementasi Metode Talqin Dalam Pembelajaran Hafalan Al Qur’an Santri RA Bunayya ICBB

Abstract

Instilling a love for the Qur’an and developing memorization skills from an early age is a crucial component of Islamic education, particularly during early childhood—a period marked by rapid cognitive and memory development. This study explores the implementation of the talqin method in the tahfidz program at RA Bunayya Islamic Centre Bin Baz (ICBB) Yogyakarta, which focuses on listening, imitating, and repeating the teacher’s recitation. The research addresses three main questions: how the talqin method is applied, what supporting factors contribute to its success, and what challenges arise in its implementation. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were gathered through observations, interviews with teachers and the principal, and documentation of learning activities. Findings reveal that the talqin method is applied consistently with structured repetition and personalized teacherstudent interaction, which enhances memorization effectiveness. Key supporting factors include dedicated teachers, active parental involvement, and a supportive learning environment. However, the study also highlights challenges such as short attention spans among students and limited learning facilities. It recommends diversifying teaching techniques and improving teacher training to meet the evolving needs of early childhood learners in Qur’anic education.
